The biggest highlight here is the battery life. Blink claims up to two years on the included AA lithium batteries, and that’s a huge plus. You can set it up once and not worry about frequent charging or wiring, which makes it ideal for outdoor use.

Motion detection feels responsive, with dual-zone alerts helping reduce unnecessary notifications. There’s also person detection available for more accurate alerts, but that does require a subscription. Everything is controlled through the Blink app, which is clean and easy to use, and Alexa integration makes it even more convenient.
The only downside is storage. The included Sync Module Core doesn’t support local storage, so you’ll need a subscription or additional hardware if you want to save footage.
